Located on Seattle’s Eastside and directed by award-winning conductor Ken Potter, the group regularly presents performances and serves the local community.

About Ken Potter

Ken Potter, originally from Billings, Montana, studied music at the University of Colorado, Cal State Long Beach, and UCLA’s film scoring program. For over 35 years, he has built a versatile career as a pianist, organist, singer, arranger, and choral director in both Los Angeles and Seattle. A 43-year member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, he’s earned seven international gold medals and three district quartet championships. Since relocating to the Seattle area in 2015, Ken has directed multiple vocal groups including A Cappella Northwest. He is currently staff musician at Brown’s Point Methodist Church in NE Tacoma, director of MixCappella, director of Tacoma Vocal Standard, and accompanist at South Sound Community Choir. He also coaches singers and quartets, tunes pianos, and enjoys travel, history, and a good scotch.
